Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Programme 2026 for Malaysian Students (Cultural Exchange)
The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (KL-YES) Programme offers Malaysian students the opportunity to spend six months in the United States, enhancing their global outlook and cultural understanding. Participants engage in high school education while living with American host families, fostering personal growth and intercultural exchange.
This program not only broadens horizons but also allows students to represent Malaysia and share their culture, making them young cultural ambassadors. The experience culminates in a homecoming event where students celebrate their achievements and the friendships formed during their exchange.
Eligibility
Open to Malaysian students who have completed their Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examinations.
