LEA-WH Fellowship 2026 for African Researchers (Training and Mentorship)
The Leadership for Innovation and Excellence in Accelerating Research on Women’s Health (LEA-WH) Fellowship is designed to strengthen women's health research in Africa. This inaugural cohort includes 20 fellows from 11 African countries, who will engage in a 12-month program of training, mentorship, and collaboration. The fellowship aims to build a network of researchers and innovators dedicated to improving health outcomes for women across the continent.
The program is structured around two tracks: one focusing on generating evidence to inform policy and the other on developing solutions and technologies that address women's health needs. By equipping a new generation of leaders with essential skills and connections, the LEA-WH Fellowship seeks to elevate women's health on regional and global agendas.
