MAB Young Scientist Awards

UNESCOGlobalGrantsDeadline: Posted

The MAB Young Scientist Awards aim to invest in a new generation of scientists worldwide, focusing on ecological and sustainability issues. These awards can grant up to US$ 5,000 to young researchers for their studies on ecosystems, natural resources, and biodiversity. Established in 1989, the awards support young scientists, particularly from developing countries, in their research endeavors.

In 2024, the awards were named the 'MAB Young Scientist Awards - Prince Albert I of Monaco' to honor contributions to ocean exploration and scientific research. The program encourages interdisciplinary projects and promotes the exchange of information among young scientists, enhancing their awareness of the role of research in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
