
Maritime Washington Grant Program 2026
The Maritime Washington Grant Program supports projects that interpret and celebrate Washington State's rich maritime heritage. This program is designed for organizations that aim to connect the public with the state's water-based stories and resources through various interpretive methods, including exhibits, educational programs, and community engagement activities.
By funding these initiatives, the program seeks to enhance visibility and appreciation of Washington's maritime cultures, ensuring that the stories and traditions of the region are preserved and shared with future generations.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants must be located within one of the 13 counties within the Maritime Washington National Heritage Area: San Juan, Whatcom, Skagit, Island, Snohomish, King, Pierce, Thurston, Mason, Kitsap, Jefferson, Clallam, or Grays Harbor.
Benefits
Grants range from $10,000 to $100,000, with a maximum grant request of $15,000 and total grantable dollars available of $100,000.
