Media Council of Kenya Announces 3-Month Attachment Programme
The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) is offering a 3-month Media Industrial Attachment Programme aimed at equipping journalism and communication students with practical skills before graduation. This initiative, in collaboration with recognized media houses, provides students with valuable work experience in various media fields, preparing them for the job market.
Running from May to July 2026, the programme targets final-year students who require an industrial attachment as part of their graduation requirements. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in print journalism, broadcast media, and digital content creation.
Eligibility
Applicants must be final-year students pursuing degrees or diplomas in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, Digital Communication, or Corporate Communication from recognized institutions. They must submit a recommendation letter, academic transcripts, a valid student ID, and a valid MCK Student Press Card for 2026, along with a sample of their journalistic work.
