Officially Green Leaders Fellowship 2026 for Nigerian Sustainability Leaders (Fully Funded)
The Officially Green Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a prestigious, fully funded initiative aimed at empowering emerging sustainability leaders across Nigeria. This program selects one exceptional individual from each of Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, creating a cohort of 37 fellows. It focuses on building a nationwide ecosystem of sustainability leaders capable of influencing policy and implementing impactful environmental initiatives.
Participants will engage in a one-week residential program that includes advanced leadership training, strategic collaboration, and the development of state-specific action plans. The fellowship aims to strengthen climate governance and promote structured sustainability interventions across Nigeria.
Eligibility
The fellowship is open to individuals from diverse professional backgrounds, including civil society, academia, public service, private sector, and grassroots initiatives. Ideal candidates should demonstrate a commitment to sustainability, strong leadership experience or potential, and the ability to mobilize stakeholders at the state level.
Benefits
Selected fellows will receive full accommodation, meals, and transportation funding during the residency.
