PAL Network Research Fellowship 2026 for Education Researchers (Up to USD 6,000 Stipend)
The PAL Network Research Fellowship Programme 2026 is now open for applications, aimed at both emerging and established researchers interested in generating innovative insights from foundational learning data across the Global South. This fellowship provides access to unique datasets and mentorship opportunities, enabling researchers to produce policy-relevant outputs that address educational inequalities.
Fellows will analyze data from the International Common Assessment of Numeracy (ICAN) and the International Common Assessment of Reading (ICAR), focusing on educational exclusion and learning disparities. This is a chance to contribute to meaningful research that can influence educational policy and practice.
Eligibility
Applicants must have a completed or in-progress Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education Measurement, Data Science, Statistics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Economics, or related fields. Those with undergraduate degrees and relevant work experience may also apply. Strong technical skills in quantitative data analysis and proficiency in Stata, R, or Python are required.
Benefits
Fellows will receive a stipend ranging from USD 4,000 to USD 6,000.
