Rotary Peace Fellowships 2025 for Middle Eastern and North African Professionals (Fully Funded)
The Otto and Fran Walter Rotary Peace Center at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, is offering fellowships for experienced peacebuilders from the Middle East and North Africa. This one-year professional development certificate program will provide fellows with postgraduate diplomas in peace and development studies, focusing on local solutions to regional conflicts.
Fellows will engage in a curriculum addressing critical issues such as land disputes, climate change, and refugee integration, and will implement a nine-month social change project. The program includes high-level training in collaboration with the UN Institute for Training and Research, enhancing the fellows' ability to address the root causes of conflicts in their communities.
Eligibility
Candidates must be from the Middle East or North Africa, have worked in the region, or demonstrate a strong interest in peacebuilding approaches relevant to the area. Applicants should have a background in peace and development or related fields.
Benefits
The fellowship covers tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation to the university, and internship and field study expenses.
