Rotary Peace Fellowships 2025 for Peacebuilders in the Middle East and North Africa (Fully Funded)

The Otto and Fran Walter Rotary Peace Center at Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey, is offering fellowships for experienced peacebuilders from the Middle East and North Africa. This one-year professional development certificate program will provide fellows with the opportunity to earn postgraduate diplomas in peace and development studies while addressing critical regional issues such as land disputes, climate change, and refugee integration.

Fellows will engage in seminars and workshops in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, implement a nine-month social change project, and present their work at a capstone seminar. This fellowship aims to equip participants with innovative policy and advocacy tools to foster peace in their communities.

Candidates must be from the Middle East or North Africa, have worked in the region, or demonstrate a strong interest in peacebuilding approaches relevant to the area. Applicants should have a background in peace and development or related fields.

The fellowship covers tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation to the university, and internship and field study expenses.
