
SAFEStart+ Project Small Grants 2026 for Ugandan Community Organizations (Up to $10,000)
The SAFEStart+ Project Small Grants 2026 offers funding between $5,000 and $10,000 to community-led organizations in Uganda focused on maternal health and combating mother-to-child transmission of HIV, Hepatitis B, and Syphilis. This initiative aims to empower local groups to implement effective health solutions and drive change in underserved areas.
By providing flexible funding and capacity-building support, the grant enables organizations to enhance their community programs, ensuring that women and children receive the necessary health services and support they need.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants must be registered community-led organizations operating at the national or sub-national level in Uganda. A proven track record in maternal and child health, HIV, Hepatitis B, or community-led monitoring is required. Preference is given to organizations led by women, young people, and affected communities, particularly in underserved districts.
Benefits
Grants range from $5,000 to $10,000 per organization for a duration of 12 months. Selected groups will also receive capacity-building support.
