Schmidt Science Fellows 2021 for PhD Students (Stipend of $100,000)
The Schmidt Science Fellows program is designed for outstanding PhD students who are passionate about interdisciplinary science. Fellows receive a stipend of $100,000 to support their full-time postdoctoral study for at least one year in a leading laboratory, allowing them to explore fields different from their existing expertise. The program also includes five weeks of bespoke training and ongoing mentoring to help develop the next generation of science leaders.
Eligibility
Candidates must have completed or expect to complete their PhD requirements between 30 April 2020 and 30 September 2021. Nominations are welcome for PhD students in natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or computing.
