
SparkChange Programme 2026 for Grassroots Changemakers in Uganda and Tanzania (Capacity Building)
The SparkChange Programme is a leadership and capacity-building initiative designed for grassroots changemakers in Uganda and Tanzania. It aims to empower individuals who are already driving positive social change by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to address local challenges effectively. Participants will learn to design practical solutions for community issues, enhance their leadership abilities, and promote the inclusion of underrepresented groups in community activities.
Eligibility
This programme is open to individuals aged 25 to 35 who are actively working with communities in rural or peri-urban areas of Uganda and Tanzania. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to youth and women’s participation and have experience in community engagement and community-based work.
Benefits
Selected participants may receive seed funding to support the implementation of their ideas, along with travel and accommodation support for in-person activities in Kampala.
