
Submit Applications for Core Certificate Program 2026
The Core Certificate Program equips nonprofit, public, and social impact leaders with the skills, knowledge, and networks they need to make strategic, mission-driven decisions that center diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). This program is designed for established community and nonprofit managers and executives to realize their full potential, building on their strengths to elevate their careers and organizational impact.
The academic year-long program includes weekly management seminars and practice seminars, providing participants with action-oriented problem-solving opportunities for specific leadership and management challenges. Additionally, participants gain access to a network of resources, learning from other leaders in the sector, current students, alumni, faculty members, community partners, and funders.
Eligibility
Eligibility varies by region:
- Boston (MA): Must live in Boston and work for a local social impact organization.
- Cape Cod & the Islands (MA): Must live on Cape Cod, Nantucket, or Martha’s Vineyard and work as a senior-level leader for a local social impact organization.
- Merrimack Valley / Essex County (MA): Must live in the Merrimack Valley / Essex County area and work for a local social impact organization.
- National Core Certificate Program (NCCP): Must have received a direct invitation to apply; currently limited to candidates from select partner organizations.
- New York City (NY): Must live in NYC and work for local social impact organizations.
- Rhode Island: Mid-level professionals or managers living in Rhode Island, working for organizations aligned with the Rhode Island Foundation’s Community Priorities.
- San Francisco Bay Area (CA): Must live in the Bay Area and work for a local organization funded by Tipping Point Community.
- Western New York (Greater Buffalo Area): Must live in this area and work for a local social impact organization.
