Summer Internship 2026
This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference for lawyers around the world who risk their safety to defend the rights of others. Interns will gain insight into how an NGO operates while building an international professional network in a committed team environment.
Interns will be involved in various activities, including conducting legal research, drafting articles and reports, assisting with project coordination, and engaging with visiting lawyers. This hands-on experience combines legal, advocacy, and organizational work, providing a comprehensive understanding of the operations of an international NGO.
Eligibility
Candidates should have an affinity with the mission of Lawyers for Lawyers, eagerness to learn, strong motivation, and the ability to work independently. Good analytical and organizational skills, along with strong English writing skills, are essential. Knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic is welcome but not required.
Benefits
Interns will receive a remuneration of EUR 500 per month (based on a 40-hour week; pro rata for 32 hours).
