
Supporting Women in Science 2026 for Female Researchers (Mentorship and Training)
The Supporting Women in Science (SWIS) programme is designed for early- and mid-career female researchers in South-Central Asia and East Africa. This flagship program offers a phased, competitive training and research fellowship focused on women's reproductive and perinatal health, as well as other public health aspects.
Participants will engage in online self-learning courses, followed by a mentored fellowship where they can develop research proposals and receive funding for project implementation. The program emphasizes mentorship from experienced professionals, enhancing accessibility through its online format.
Eligibility
Open to early- and mid-career female researchers from South-Central Asia and East Africa. Applicants must meet predefined eligibility criteria.
