The Swedish Institute Internship 2026 offers fully funded paid opportunities at Swedish companies for current and former international master’s students who have studied in Sweden. This program enables participants to apply their academic knowledge in a practical setting, build professional skills, and expand their global network, enhancing their career prospects in their home countries.
As part of the Sweden Alumni Academy, the Swedish Institute collaborates with Swedish Embassies to provide these traineeship opportunities in selected countries, helping alumni forge valuable connections with Swedish organizations and future employers.
Eligibility
- Must be an international student completing a master’s degree in Sweden by summer 2026, or a former international student who graduated in 2023 or later.
- Citizenship in one of the eligible countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Mexico, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, or Vietnam.
- Ability to undertake a full-time traineeship for up to 6 months between August 2026 and January 2027.
