
Teach For Sweden Teacher Training Program 2026 for Aspiring Educators (Paid Position)
The Teach For Sweden program offers aspiring educators the opportunity to become qualified teachers while gaining practical classroom experience. Over two years, participants will engage in academic studies and leadership training, working four days a week in schools while dedicating one day to their studies. This program aims to address the educational inequalities and teacher shortages in Sweden, empowering individuals to make a difference in students' lives.
Participants will receive a salary as a regular teacher, unique leadership training, and personal coaching throughout the program. Upon completion, graduates will earn a teaching qualification and can pursue a teaching license, contributing to a more equitable education system.
Eligibility
Candidates must hold a subject or vocational degree of at least 180 ECTS credits in one of the subjects being recruited for, such as mathematics, technology, physics, biology, chemistry, or languages. Proficiency in Swedish and a commitment to making a difference for students are also required.
Benefits
Participants will be employed as teachers with a salary during the program.
