The TWAS–CSIR Postgraduate Fellowship Programme 2026 is a prestigious international scholarship designed for young scientists from developing countries who wish to pursue PhD research in India. Eligibility
- Maximum age: 35 years (as of 31 December 2026)
- Must be a citizen of a developing country (excluding India)
- Must not hold residency in India or any developed country
- Must have a Master’s degree in Science/Technology
- Must be employed in their home country with a research role
- Must obtain an acceptance letter from a CSIR institute
- Must provide proof of English proficiency (if required)
- Must commit to returning to their home country after completion.
