The 2026 TWAS Skill Building Workshop is designed to enhance the scientific skills of early-career African scientists. Taking place in Accra, Ghana, from June 16 to June 18, this workshop aims to foster a stronger scientific community across the continent through expert-led sessions on various topics, including scientific writing and responsible AI in science.

Participants will engage in networking activities to spark new partnerships and collaborative projects, with a keynote lecture by Prof. Nii Narku Quaynor, a prominent figure in the development of the Internet in Africa. This initiative reflects TWAS's commitment to strengthening research capacity and collaboration in Africa.

Eligibility

Open to early-career scientists from African countries, specifically those supported through the Seed Grant for New African Principal Investigators (SG-NAPI) Programme.
