The UICC Technical Fellowships 2026 offers cancer professionals the opportunity to enhance their skills through short-term international learning visits. Participants will gain practical skills and knowledge through placements lasting from 2 weeks to 2 months at host institutions worldwide. This fellowship is particularly aimed at professionals from low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

Eligibility

Applicants must be clinicians, nurses, pathologists, public health professionals, or other cancer-related specialists with at least a Master’s degree (or MD/RN with certification) and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the cancer field. They must be employed at a relevant institution and commit to returning to their home institution after the fellowship. Students and those seeking funding for conferences or basic training are not eligible.

Benefits

The fellowship covers economy return flights and a living allowance based on the host country, approximately $1,440 for low/middle-income countries and $3,700 for high-income countries.
