The UN Advocacy and Research Intern will support advocacy and research initiatives at the United Nations in New York City, providing practical experience in policy engagement, event coordination, and member support. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about human rights and civic freedoms.

Interns will assist in various responsibilities including supporting UN advocacy priorities, facilitating stakeholder engagement, conducting research, and coordinating events. Eligibility

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or be currently pursuing a Master’s in international relations, law, political science, or related social sciences. A minimum of six months of experience in international policy, advocacy, or research is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Candidates must be based in New York City with legal authorization to work in the United States.
