UN Opens Applications for Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship 2026 (Fully Funded)
The Reham Al-Farra Memorial Journalism Fellowship is a fully funded program aimed at young professional journalists from developing countries and economies in transition. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in covering global diplomacy and multilateral affairs at the UN headquarters in New York.
Participants will engage in high-level briefings, interview senior officials, and attend sessions of the United Nations General Assembly. The program also includes specialized training sessions to enhance reporting on global governance, development, and international cooperation.
Eligibility
Applicants must be between 22 and 35 years old, have at least two years of professional journalism experience, and be working full-time in the field. Freelance journalists are eligible if they provide strong portfolios and proof of professional accreditation. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of reporting on UN-related issues or global affairs.
