UNAIDS Internship 2026
The UNAIDS Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity for individuals to gain practical experience in the field of HIV/AIDS and public health. Interns will work alongside professionals in a dynamic environment, contributing to the mission of achieving zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths. This internship is designed to encourage gender parity and geographic diversity among participants.
Internships can last between 2 to 6 months and may be conducted in person or remotely, depending on the needs of the hiring division. This is a chance to be part of a global initiative and make a meaningful impact in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Eligibility
Candidates must be at least 20 years old and enrolled in or have recently completed a degree program at a recognized institution. A working knowledge of at least one of the WHO/UNAIDS official languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, Spanish) is required. Applications from women and individuals from under-represented member states are particularly encouraged.
