UNCCD COP17 Media Reporting Fellowship 2026
The UNCCD COP17 Media Reporting Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity for six journalists to cover critical issues related to land pressure, food and water security, and global resilience. Taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from 17 to 28 August 2026, this fellowship coincides with the 17th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP17). Participants will gain firsthand experience and insights into the challenges and solutions surrounding sustainable land stewardship.
This fellowship is designed for journalists from around the world, providing them with the resources and platform to report on underreported stories that impact communities globally. With all expenses covered and no application fee, this is a unique chance to engage with key stakeholders and enhance journalistic skills in a vital area of environmental reporting.
