
UNDP Inclusive Growth Internship 2026 for Graduates (Remote and In-Person Opportunities)
The UNDP is offering an exciting internship opportunity under its Inclusive Growth practice area, with three positions available, including two international remote roles and one local in-person placement. This internship is designed for graduates and postgraduate students, providing hands-on exposure to regional development initiatives across Africa.
Interns will contribute to research, policy development, and programme support aligned with strategic initiatives focused on inclusive economic transformation, resilience, and sustainable development. This full-time programme offers valuable experience in international development, allowing participants to work within a multicultural environment while contributing to real development initiatives.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme OR recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree
- Field of study in Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related social sciences
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is desirable for international roles
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office
- Good drafting and research abilities
Previous work experience is not required, though it may be advantageous.
