The UNDP Internship Programme 2026 offers students and recent graduates a unique entry point into international development careers. This program provides hands-on experience in global policy and sustainable development, combining professional training with a monthly stipend. Interns will work in various UNDP offices worldwide, gaining exposure to critical areas such as poverty reduction, climate change, and gender equality.
Internships typically last between three to six months and can be full-time or part-time. Participants will not only enhance their understanding of global development policies but also build valuable professional networks and skills.
Eligibility
Candidates from all countries are welcome to apply. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, enrolled in a graduate program, in the final year of a bachelor’s degree, or have graduated within the past year. A strong interest in international development and proficiency in at least one UN working language (English, French, or Spanish) is required. Additional language skills may provide a competitive advantage.
