
UNDP Research & Partnerships Internship 2026 for Students and Recent Graduates (Remote Option)
The UNDP is offering a Research & Partnerships Internship within the Human Development Report Office (HDRO) for students and recent graduates. This three-month internship, based in New York with a remote option, provides an opportunity to contribute to the preparation of the 2026 Human Development Report while gaining hands-on experience in research, data analysis, and policy development.
Interns will support the HDRO's mission to advance human development through evidence-based research and innovative analysis. This role will involve working closely with senior researchers and contributing to the development of research products and policy outputs.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include students currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD programme, students in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, and recent graduates within one year of graduation. Preferred fields of study include Demography, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, and related disciplines.
