
UNDP Statistics Internship 2026 for Graduate Students (Remote Option Available)
The UNDP is offering a Statistics Internship within the Human Development Report Office. This opportunity is designed for motivated individuals who are interested in gaining practical experience in statistical analysis, development research, and international data systems. Interns will support the preparation of the Statistical Annex for the Human Development Report and engage in various analytical and outreach activities.
This internship not only enhances analytical capabilities but also provides exposure to global discussions on sustainable development and human well-being, making it a valuable experience for emerging scholars and professionals.
Eligibility
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. programme, completing a Master’s degree, in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree programme, or a recent graduate within one year of graduation. Preferred fields of study include Statistics, Demography, Economics, Economic Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related quantitative disciplines.
Benefits
Eligible interns may receive a monthly stipend in accordance with UNDP Internship Policy if they are not financially supported through another institution, scholarship, or programme.
