The UNFPA Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Programme is designed to empower young people in Ghana to become transformational leaders. This one-year fellowship offers professional and career development opportunities, including high-level mentorship from accomplished personalities across various sectors. Participants will also work towards a Masters Degree in Youth Leadership and Development from the University of Ghana.

This fellowship is particularly aimed at youth leaders involved with youth-led, youth-focused, and youth-serving organizations, as well as public institutions. It is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about leadership, sustainable development, and contributing to Ghana’s 2030 Agenda.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

  1. Aged between 18 – 30 years and resident in Ghana.
  2. Hold qualifications from accredited tertiary institutions.
  3. Able to commit fully to the one-year fellowship on-site at the UNFPA Ghana Country Office and the University of Ghana.
  4. Proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficient in English.
  6. Passionate about leadership and development issues.
  7. Affiliated with youth-led organizations or currently working on youth development projects.
