
United Nations Youth Leadership Programme 2026 for Young Leaders (Fully Funded)
The United Nations Youth Leadership Programme (YLP) 2026 is a unique opportunity for young leaders from low- and middle-income countries to gain global exposure and practical experience in transforming food systems. This initiative focuses on empowering a new generation of changemakers passionate about sustainable development and climate resilience through leadership training and mentorship.
Participants will engage with fellow youth leaders, experts, and policymakers, developing solutions to strengthen food systems in their communities. The programme aims to build a diverse network of young leaders capable of advancing sustainable and inclusive food systems worldwide.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- Aged between 18 and 35 years
- Proficient in English
- Nationals of low- or middle-income countries
- Experienced in food systems, sustainability, climate action, or related fields
- Demonstrating leadership experience within communities or organizations
- Committed to participating in programme activities through 2028.
The programme particularly welcomes young farmers, entrepreneurs, policy advocates, researchers, and civil society leaders.
