WBG Voice Secondment Program 2026 for Mid-Career Government Officials (Capacity Building)

The WBG Voice Secondment Program (VSP) offers mid-career government officials from client countries the opportunity to work alongside World Bank Group staff in Washington, D.C. for six months. Participants gain firsthand experience of the Bank's operations, contributing to projects and enhancing their understanding of development finance.

This immersive program not only deepens technical knowledge but also enables participants to effectively translate WBG processes back to their home institutions, fostering stronger links between the WBG and the countries it serves.

Open to mid-career government officials primarily from Small Island Developing States, fragile and conflict-affected settings, and low- and middle-income countries.
