The Western Union Global Fellowship is a fully funded 16-week program designed to empower entrepreneurs working with refugees, displaced populations, and highly marginalized communities. This fellowship equips participants with the tools, networks, and mentorship required to scale impact-driven ventures and unlock economic opportunities across diverse global contexts.

Beginning on August 11, 2026, the program combines leadership development, venture growth, and community impact through a blend of training, mentorship, and practical implementation. Participants will engage in a structured curriculum that includes venture strategy, financial literacy training, and community impact initiatives.

Eligibility

Applicants must be entrepreneurs or community leaders working with refugee, displaced, or underserved populations. They should demonstrate a strong commitment to social impact and have lived experience or close proximity to the communities they serve. Organizations must have been operating for 1–5 years, have fewer than 10 employees, and show evidence of traction. Minimum age is 18 years.

Benefits

Participants receive fully funded access to the fellowship, financial stipends, community development funding, and long-term alumni support.
