
WTO Young Professionals Programme 2027 for Developing Country Nationals (CHF 4,000 Monthly)
The WTO Young Professionals Programme (YPP) 2027 offers early-career professionals from developing and least-developed countries a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international trade. This one-year, non-renewable programme is designed to equip participants with the skills and exposure needed to thrive in global trade policy and governance.
Selected candidates will work at the WTO headquarters in Geneva, collaborating with experts and contributing to real-world policy work. Participants will conduct research, support negotiations, and draft reports, gaining valuable insights into international trade negotiations and building influential networks.
Eligibility
Applicants must be nationals of a WTO member country, preferably from developing or least-developed countries. Candidates should hold an advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Economics, International Relations, Law, Development Studies, or Environmental Studies. A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience is required, along with fluency in English.
