WTO Young Trade Leaders Programme 2026 in Switzerland
The WTO Young Trade Leaders Programme 2026 offers a unique opportunity for young individuals to deepen their understanding of global trade and the work of the WTO. This program empowers passionate youth to bring fresh ideas and raise awareness about the positive impacts of trade on people and the planet.
Participants will engage with international trade topics, contribute their perspectives on global challenges, and may attend a one-day training at the WTO headquarters in Geneva. This experience is designed to enhance their understanding of how global trade rules are shaped and implemented.
Eligibility
- Age: 18 to 28 years on the date of application.
- Citizenship: Must be a citizen of a WTO member country.
- Language: Good level of English and ability to communicate in English.
- Commitment: Must be willing to participate fully throughout the one-year programme (July 2026 - June 2027).
Benefits
Participants will not receive a salary or stipend but will gain valuable experience and exposure through the program, including a one-day training in Geneva.
