The YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa offers a transformative leadership training program for young leaders from 14 East and Central African countries. Participants will engage in a 12-week immersive experience that includes both on-site and virtual learning, focusing on Business and Entrepreneurship, Civic Leadership, and Public Management.
This program aims to empower the next generation of African leaders by providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive positive change in their communities and beyond.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:
- Aged 18 to 35 years at the time of application.
- Citizens and residents of Burundi, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda.
- Not U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Eligible to receive a visa to Kenya.
- Proficient in English.
