The Yango Fellowship 2026 selects 24 participants from six African countries to develop innovative science and technology projects over 12 weeks. This year's program emphasizes applied artificial intelligence, enabling fellows to create solutions that address critical issues such as health literacy, energy monitoring, and traffic optimization. The fellowship culminates in a Demo Day in Abidjan, where participants present their projects to industry experts.
By bridging the STEM skills gap in Africa, the Yango Fellowship provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and project-based learning, fostering the next generation of tech leaders and innovators across the continent.
Eligibility
Open to applicants from Côte d’Ivoire, Zambia, Ethiopia, Senegal, Mozambique, and Ghana. Ideal for individuals with a background or interest in technology and artificial intelligence.
