Young Changemakers Initiative 2026 for Young Africans (Showcase Leadership and Innovation)
The Young Changemakers Initiative 2026 invites young Africans aged 18-35 to showcase their ideas and leadership potential as part of the African Futures Conference 2026. This initiative aims to identify and promote rising leaders, thinkers, and innovators who are shaping the future of Africa.
Participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of experts, with the Top 20 selected changemakers receiving recognition. The Top 5 will be awarded the Young Changemakers Award, including travel support to attend the conference in Pretoria, where they will engage with policymakers and contribute to vital discussions on Africa's future.
Eligibility
Open to young Africans aged 18–35, including young professionals, researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators, activists, creatives, storytellers, community leaders, and students. No prior experience in foresight is required.
