The Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellowship programme empowers emerging entrepreneurs and business leaders across the Western Hemisphere. Launched in 2015, it supports innovation, strengthens leadership skills, and promotes economic growth through collaboration and exchange. The 2026 programme will run from November 2025 through May 2026, bringing together approximately 250 young leaders from the region for professional placements in the U.S.

Participants will engage in leadership and entrepreneurship training, cultural exchange activities, and networking opportunities, enhancing their skills and expanding their professional networks. The fellowship aims to strengthen business ties between the U.S. and the Dutch Caribbean, contributing to long-term regional economic development.

Eligibility

Open to young leaders and entrepreneurs from the Dutch Caribbean, particularly those involved in various sectors such as food and beverage, arts, music, culture, management consulting, and community development.
