The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program is a unique opportunity for young political and policy leaders from Southeast Asia to enhance their leadership skills and expand their professional networks. This program includes a week of discussions in Washington, DC, followed by a month-long fellowship in an American office, culminating in a global Professional Fellows Congress. Participants will engage in meaningful exchanges that aim to strengthen governance and civic engagement in their home countries.
Eligibility
- Must be a citizen of Indonesia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, or Thailand
- Aged between 25-35
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Professional background related to governance
- Commitment to public service and leadership potential
- Cannot hold dual US citizenship or have participated in a J-1 visa program in the past two years.
